Privacy Policy
1. General
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how information is handled when you use the Startupledger mobile application (“App”).
By using the App, you confirm that you have read this Policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. What data we collect
We do not collect, share, or sell your personal data.
The App works locally on your device. We do not create accounts, require registration, or send the contents of your projects, tasks, photos, or settings to our servers.
We do not use analytics, advertising identifiers, or third-party services to collect user data within the App.
3. Data stored on your device
The App may store on your device information that you enter or add yourself, including:
- projects and tasks;
- app settings;
- photos you choose from your gallery for project tiles or covers;
- reminder settings.
This data is stored only on your device and is controlled by you. Deleting the App or resetting data in settings may permanently erase this information.
4. Device permissions
Depending on the features you use, the App may request access to:
- Photos / gallery — so you can add an image to a project tile or cover;
- Notifications — so we can remind you about tasks at the time you choose.
Permissions are used only for the related features. You can revoke access at any time in your device settings.
5. Sharing with third parties
Because we do not collect your data, we do not share it with third parties.
Note that your device operating system, app store (App Store / Google Play), and device manufacturer may process technical information under their own policies. We do not control that processing.
6. Security and data retention
The App is provided “as is”, without any warranties.
We are not responsible for the safety, integrity, availability, or recovery of data stored on your device, including in cases of:
- loss, damage, or replacement of the device;
- app, OS, or update failures;
- deleting the app or clearing data;
- actions by you or third parties;
- any other circumstances beyond our control.
We recommend making your own backups of important information if needed.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or other damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App, or from data loss.
8. Children
The App is not intended to collect children’s data and is not directed specifically at users under 13 (or another age required by applicable law).
9. Changes to this Policy
We may change this Policy at any time without prior notice. The current version is published on this GitHub Pages site.
Continued use of the App after changes are published means you accept the updated Policy. We recommend checking this page periodically.
